 Thanks for staying with me.
OK, to answer all of your questions..... I do have the INJ, and EXC cables  
connected. My hook up diagram doesn't call for an AGC cable????
 
  On an earlier email you asked Does it do it on power up, no, not  until 
the tubes warm up. The 100 ma is on the plate current meters on each  
Converter.
 
  I did see a real problem...... The internal relay in the TC-6 picks  as 
soon as the high voltage comes on. Looking at the print, I can't see how that 
 is possible. Is it possible that two of the wires in the power multi cable 
could  be shorted? I'll have to fess up, I did rebuild the AC-4 with the 
Heathkit shop  kit, but Other than checking for the correct voltages, I did 
not open the plug  at the end of the multi cable.

I doubt it's an oscillation, since  both react in the same way.  Not 
likely a bad Driver tube  either..
