I "repaired" my R8B this weekend which had no audio. The problem, the Speaker "INT, EXT, BOTH" switch had not been exercised in years, if ever. Exercised that switch, the audio returned, problem over.
Collins "S" Line gear is also notorious for having to exercise all the switches before use to avoid intermittents.
