Hello Bob: If you look at any of the 4 line manuals you will not see an external Xtal listed for the 5 to 6 Mhz region. Me thinks that is because of the VFO operating at 5 Mhz and thus there is no mix that will take you to the 60 meter band. So other than a fairly major circuitry change I don't think it's feasible.
