If you wanted to 'speriment, one might be able to switch the VFO
directly in, or simply turn off the het osc so the VFO "blows thru" the
mixer. I can't recall if there is a trap for the VFO freq after the
mixer but if you really need to get on 60M, it might work.
I have been playing on 60M during the evenings here and find it quite
pleasant. Both CW and SSB.
