Thanks for the warm welcome! I just joined the Yahoo group also. Chuck, when the time comes for the PS kit, I will have a very capable friend who will guide/help me through it. I also seen a Youtube video showing it's not all that complicated. My PS has a very slight hum that you can only hear with the volume completely silent.

Speaking of the AC4 upgrade kit, I've done two of them, one for an AC3. It'll do both though it's a little confusing for the AC3 (different colored wires etc). Here's my tip on that kit. Squeemish about bringing up a 750VDC supply (I was) ? I took a filament transformer and fed the 12VAC to the supply instead of the 120VAC. Then check the outputs and multiply by 10.
