I just found a bag of parts in my 2-B parts collection with a 5.5 MHz crystal, two variable capacitors, and a disc ceramic.
I wonder if this was a parts kit for the A band conversion to 160 Meters for the Drake 2-B. The parts do not match up with what is in the official drake mod, but wonder if maybe someone had an alternative design and offered a parts kit.
