I've tried the mesa-3.5-branch several times during the last weeks but had no
luck, yet.

Am I missing something?

BTW I tried it because I get a sigfault with "render" the 3D rendering tool
of the Khoros Pro 2001 imaging system. It fails in one of the GLX functions.
Worked for me last summer...
