I just bought a shiny new system with an ASUS A7V133 (KT133A chipset),
and will let you know how it fares with my Radeon as soon as it arrives.

As for the APIC stuff, I usually enable it too.  Try disabling it, and
compiling your kernel for UP (I don't know if you're running an SMP
kernel or not).
