Here's the deal. The DRI developers, including myself, have been laid-off
from VA Linux. Today (Friday) is my last day.
There's an effort to relocate us to a new organization but it's too early
to say what'll happen on that front.
In the mean time, some of us will try to do some DRI work in our spare
time. Progress might be slow though. Volunteers are all the more welcome
now.

Keith and I are working on finishing up the Mesa 4.0 / OpenGL 1.3 work.
I hope to release 4.0 in the next few weeks. At some point after that
I'd like to return to the DRI's mesa-3-5 branch to import Mesa 4.0 and
finish that up. Again, progress may be slow.
I plan to take some time off before starting a new job (to be determined)
so I might not be following the mailing lists too closely.
