I have seen this. Star office 5.2 runs ok with single head G400, but barfs (cant remember how OTTOMH) at startup when running dual head. This with XFree 4.1.0.
I've recently upgraded to kernel 2.4.13 and now I cant start dual head at all. I'll try and figure out why.
