Hi,
I had a problem with DRI locking up hard with a Matrox G200 when I
compiled the DRM into the kernel statically. Since I made it a module
everything works fine. I didn't investigate this any further, since the
computer stands in a lab in school ;-). Maybe this hint helps anyway.
