I've moved the 2 new field you added to the DRIInfo rec to the end of the structure. Since this is allocated in the DRI module and set to 0, that and bumping the minor number (which I've done, too) is enough for backwards compatability. This should restore backwards compatability for previously released drivers. Anyone with drivers built since the merge will need to update and rebuild. Any feedback is appreciated as I haven't actually tested these changes, yet. As for the seperate issue of how to update the user environment with more recent infrastructure changes, I'm okay with an extras package as long as it's not automatically installed over a more recent version of the infrastructure. I look into how we can do this. -- /\ Jens Owen / \/\ _ [EMAIL PROTECTED] / \ \ \ Steamboat Springs, Colorado ------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: ThinkGeek at http://www.ThinkGeek.com/ _______________________________________________ Dri-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
