I'm getting quite similar results: with xmms running in background: ~150 FPS with xmms paused: ~130 FPS after i unpause xmms, FPS will drop down very low (~10 FPS or s.th.) for about 1 or 2 seconds (system load is almost 100% during that period), and then go up to 150 again (with low sys-load) performance in q3a is also very poor for me at the moment (but it seems fairly stable (played for about 20 min. without lockup/crash, which is better than i used to get with earlier driver builds) wolfenstein sig11-ed after some minutes, however (no hardlock though, just the game crashed) system: 8500 LE, XP1800+, KT266A-mobo, dri-cvs (trunk) from 30 min ago, linux-2.4.19 (vanilla), debian unstable ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: DEDICATED SERVERS only $89!
