I'm trying to decide when to merge the mesa-41 branch into the trunk. People have reported a number of problems, but for the most part, they seem to be present in the trunk as well.
At this time, the only differences between the trunk and branch server code is in the indirect GLX rendering code. I don't see how that could be responsible for the server lock-ups that have been reported. It might make sense to merge to the trunk soon so that there's one code base to focus on. Everyone seems to want the mesa-41 work to get into XFree86 4.3.
