I very respectfully disagree. If I'm not mistaken, fs is one of the
registers that the Linux ABI lists as callee-saved, just like ebx, esi,
edi, esp, and ebp. Modifying that register in a subroutine, even if it
is in a driver, and not restoring it is an ABI violation.
I have never tried WineX myselves in recent times
but i am confident that the next ATI Linux driver release
will address that thing so that this conflict is solved.
