just do a cvs update and rebuild the kernel module (xc/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/os-support/linux/drm/kernel), DRI driver (xc/xc/lib/GL/mesa/src/drv/savage) and 2D driver (xc/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/drivers/savage). in most cases you can just copy the new versions over you old ones. you only have to rebuild the parts that have changed.
