I think it's not the DRM module that causes the insecurity, at least in
case of Savage. It's the Xserver that creates mmio mappings that would
allow an attacker to do evil stuff. The problem with Savage is that
everything is done in user space. So potentially any user process can do
anything with the savage engine.
