G400MAX works fine for me: 2.6.7 kernel (2.4.26 was fine as well IIRC) 1GHz Duron SiS745 motherboard. Both Xfree debs from Debian unstable, and Michel Daenzer's debs from http://people.debian.org/~daenzer/ (DRI source from Feb 2004 IIRC) work for me. It does crash on console switch occasionally, which is irritating. But OpenGL apps are fine.
