It seems the problem was a typo. I couldn't find the PCI ID 0x8c20
anywhere in the X.org or kernel trees while 0x8a20 (the one you added)
can be found in both. I'm not sure anymore where this list of PCI IDs
came from originally, but I'm pretty sure 0x8c20 can be safely removed.
