Hello, i have tried for the better of the last week, to create a
floatingpoint render target using the newest proprietary driver from ati
under xorg. It just does not work. Most of the time the error Message is
"No matching FBConfig". I am getting increasingly frustrated, as i
really need this functionallity. I hope someone here can point me to an
example that will work. Direct rendering is working fine. I can create
pbuffers (are there other types of render targets?) and i can create
floatingpoint textures, but not both combined. Glxinfo says, i have
GLX_ATI_render_texture and GLX_ATI_pixel_format_float, so i don't see
why it should not work. :-(
Please could anyone give me a hint, or a working example ( or maybe the
upcoming r300 driver would work? ).
