I think I did file a bug, but the xorg.log was virtually empty. There are no errors recorded, and I have to kill -9 X over ssh to get anywhere. X literally just froze in place and stopped. It isn't quite the lacking people problem, its the fact that a) driver hacking isn't easy for the average hacker, b) everyone is just saying fuck ATI and switching to nvidia. I may even switch to nvidia if this keeps up. fglrx sucks, ATI has no interest in helping DRI, and DRI just doesn't have the man power to do stuff quickly. Maybe the FSF should start funding driver development by hiring programmers and buying hardware?
