Which packages were updated during that upgrade?  (Use qlop --list 
-u to find that out.)  Does downgrading all those packages fix the

Does this occur everytime you reboot?  I've seen similar symptoms, 
but just once, after toying about a lot with Mesa demo programs.

Does the issue also occur when using a stable kernel, say 2.6.19-r5?
