OK, we've determined that the mouse is reporting itself as a Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop? 1.00. At one point, there was a keyboard that was also served by this transceiver but it stopped working so I ditched it and just kept the mouse. I have a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 that I use with my Mac Mini and it worked right away when I plugged it into the laptop running OpenSolaris.
Looks like that Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 is just too old and/or funky to work. I'll get a wireless bluetooth mighty mouse for the Mac and move the Laser Mouse over for laptop duty. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
