If we are going to do this as queries to INFORMATION_SCHEMA and use
INNODB.  We should consider setting innodb_stats_on_metadata=0 as the
default.  Till this option was available INFORMATION_SCHEMA was pretty
much unusable in our environment for performance reasons.
