There's actually a decent web forum-to-mailing list gateway out there
now. I'll try to remember which one it was.
Phorum + phorummail module + you favorite list serve. But, I still
say we don't need one at this point.
Phorum et al should just implement an NNTP or IMAP interface, and be
done with it
