Hello,
I am a technical writer and I was wondering if you would like me to contribute
to the documentation for the drizzle project?
Hi!
Thanks very much for your offer! Of course, we'd be delighted to
receive any contributions in the docs area. Right now, it's quite early
in the development process, but certainly in the next few months we
should have some ideas on how to tackle documentation (e.g. do we use a
version of the MySQL docbook stuff, or something else?)
Keep following this mailing list and we'll let you know when the time is
right :)
For immediate stuff, the Drizzle wiki on drizzle.org is a good place to
put rough documentation, especially any tutorials for new contributors.
It would be great to get some articles on setting up development
environemnts, running tests, etc.
On my own blog, I've got a few of these and if you'd like, you may want
to scrape them and update them for non-Linux platforms. That would be a
great task to tackle.
