Excellent point. Right now there's only a few-hour-hack proof of
concept, as some aspects of that concept were in doubt before.
It's not even an alpha, it is really literally a short midnight hack.
It is in no way re-usable for the actual implementation (I say this
expressly because most proof code does get reused, I know that - but
not in this case)
When there's development, the most likely scenario at this stage is
that it will indeed be open development.
However, as noted before, it's valid to not develop things in the open
(for instance for economic reasons), as long as a) it's appreciated
that this may have consequences on the code quality and speed of
quality improvements and b) it doesn't pretend to be open.
With regard to GRAPH engine, there's valid reasons for going either
way, or be closed first then open later. Thus it's undecided.
My personal preference would be to have it open from the start.
