As discussed briefly at the Developer Day, I think it makes sense to have
AMIs availalbe:

  - 64 bit developer w/toolchian and libraries
  - 32 bit developer w/toolchain and libraries
  - 64 bit user with LAMP/Java stack
  - 32 bit user with LAMP/Java stack

CentOS and Ubuntu make sense.

I'd have said not to bother with 32 bit, but Mark Atwood noted that the
smallest 64bit EC2 instance is at least double the cost of 32 bit and we
should try to keep barriers to entry low.
