One of my favorite problems that becomes more important in a cloud is management of the server process. mysqld has /etc/init.d/mysql and mysqld_safe. Is it drizzled in this case? What exists to control it? The interfaces for /etc/init.d/mysql and mysqld_safe are somewhat limited and require the admin to be on the box. Does drizzle have plans for something that supports an API that doesn't require me to login to a box?
