I've been going over a bit of the DDL code around drop table in the
last week. I am pretty surprised about how little has went into
checking whether or not the action is valid (or will be stored). DDL
events making it into replication really are a gamble right now in
cases of a crash. It is hard to say how easy some of this will be to
handle until we can have transactional DDL of some sort.
Ever put any thoughts into how to verify the action?
