I'd happy contribute my architectural expertise to help create a true Drizzle Sample Schema and data. I believe we need to set some initial goals and I think these should include: - Relevance to the ideal architecture for Drizzle, e.g. cloud enabled, web 2.0 ish, shardable? - Scalable data, e.g. have small and large data sources - Sample queries .e.g enables us to not only have a sample db, but to benchmark it! I've listed a number of public data source at http://ronaldbradford.com/blog/seeking-public-data-for-benchmarks-2009-08-28/ I know I played with freebase examples, and even produced a data model and data load scripts for ironically Olympics data (many months ago) I prefer the collaborative approach, so if anybody is interested in assisting/contributing please let me know and we can try to get this rolling before the UC.
