hi devs, I m ranga from university of moratuwa sri lanka & interested in the SOC project titled under
*Implement Table elimination is Drizzle*. I tried to set up the development environment & im having problems with that. Im refering the blog post by Jay Pipes http://www.joinfu.com/2008/08/getting-a-working-c-c-plusplus-development-environment-for-developing-drizzle/ I added the launchpad repository to my sources list file. I think that part is ok.(working on Ubuntu Jaunty) but i get this error while doing sudo apt-get install drizzle-dev here is the output. ra...@laptop:~$ sudo apt-get install drizzle drizzle drizzle-dev drizzle-plugin-dev drizzle-client drizzle-doc drizzle-server ra...@laptop:~$ sudo apt-get install drizzle-dev Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: > The following packages have unmet dependencies: drizzle-dev: Depends: libpam0g-dev but it is not going to be installed Depends: libcurl4-gnutls-dev but it is not going to be > installed Depends: libgnutls-dev but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages should I install packages one by one or am i missing something. sorry for bothering you guys with these trivial issues. your response is much appreciated. thanks, ranga.
