It looks like I may have had the wrong order of commands in my blog
post. I've updated/corrected it.  Here is all the steps to take:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:drizzle-developers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get build-dep drizzle-dev
sudo apt-get install drizzle-dev

If the above does not work, it main mean you have a broken package
installation.  Try the above out and let me know if that works.
