Hello, I tried to batch import metadata in csv format from Dspace UI. The original files was exported from a database in csv including special characters such as copyright symbol ©. However, once I imported the file in DSpace, special chars become diamonds as it cannot recognize them. Ex. I tried to code © in both utf-16 �A9; and uft-8 &#C2A9; but they don't work. Then I tried the codes within a Dspace record, that didnt work either - the code is displayed as text.
There was a time in Dspace v1.6 such coding would work. Now we are on v6. Can anyone share their success in this regard? Thanks.
