Hello colette, the dspace is an open source institutional repository without any limit to customization. There is no limitation to the design and customization, can you tell us details of the installation? 1. Your dspace previous and current installation version e.g 6.3 2. Mode of deployment? cloud or local server 3. Operating system? linux or windows 4. Did you backup your database and assetstore? Note: What error are you getting when submitting a document and users registration?
