Hello,

When we migrated from DSpace 6.3 to DSpace 7.6.3 a year and a half ago, we
ended up with around 2500 items in the 'Administer Workflow' tab. I guess
we weren't the only people who had this happen. I was wondering how people
are dealing with them?

My understanding is that they're items that got stuck in processing limbo
at some point--maybe they were duplicate submissions or tests that no one
bothered to complete the workflow process on, or maybe the person who
claimed them won the lottery and couldn't finish the acceptance process. I
think the only way to actually deal with them and make sure none of those
items should actually be in the repository though would be to process them
manually.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Carolyn.
