We had a small amount of discussion about this issue (and I've added some more
detailed thoughts here). Essentially, we need to figure out a proper fix to
the problem, so we won't be able to have it fixed in time for 1.6.0 release.
There's also a need to ensure we can fix auth issues more globally. DSpace was
initially built as more of an "open" system, and so it never has fully obeyed
when you want to restrict access to everything or everything in a
collection/community. We need to figure out a way to fix these issues in
longer term.
