ETDs are one of the commonest use-cases for institutional repositories.
Establishment of ETD programs would be greatly assisted by:
- the addition of thesis.degree.level and thesis.degree.discipline metadata
fields from the ETD-MS specification
- the addition of a metadata-entry form specific to theses and dissertations to
input-forms.xml
to out-of-the-box DSpace.
