I have a proposal for DSpace, thank you for reading, and it is very appriciated if anyone can give some feedback. Project description: Develop a Workflow Designer for DSpace, with which customers can custom workflow steps. The designer UI can be implemented with java Web Start like this: DSpace also should have workflow engine to execute the workflow, it can: a) Integrate with email server, once certain event happens (for example, one step is acctepted by associated e-person), an email can send to specified person automatically. b) Invoke external SOAP or REST API once certain event happens.
