Category: Search Group: 1.4 alpha 1 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Claudia Juergen (cjuergen) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Searching for an URL as identifier -> invalid search string Initial Comment: Advanced search (after solving bug 1456285) searching for an url as identifier, e. g. http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/3 results in an "invalid search string" message. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Scott Yeadon (syeadon) Date: 2006-03-29 20:56 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1103084 This doesn't seem like a bug to me. Lucene's syntax requires the user to escape certain search terms to distinguish them from their reserved use. Maybe an alternative could be to place a link in the docs to Lucene's query syntax page? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=119984&aid=1456300&group_id=19984 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ThinkGeek and WIRED's GeekDad team up for the Ultimate GeekDad Father's Day Giveaway.
