This may be because some days ago I installed Java EE plugins.  But I
don't know what would have suddenly brought them to life.  They are
finding things they don't like in the JSPs and XSL, so at least there
is some reward for all the fuss.

Well, this seems to be from ConfigurationManager.  I guess the tests
are running, and for some reason they can't find a config in the
Eclipse environment.
