Ben Bosman resolved DS-823.
---------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version/s: 1.8.0
We have created a small update to the DatabaseManager, which complies with how
the NUMERIC type has been used in the past. This has been tested on a DSpace
1.7.0 Oracle instance, and resolved the issue.
> DatabaseManager is no longer Oracle compliant

> The DatabaseManager treats the NUMERIC type as a long instead of an integer,
> causing parts of the DSpace 1.7 code to break when row.getIntColumn is called
> for the NUMERIC type.
