Claudia Jürgen commented on DS-1054:
------------------------------------

Hello Fedor,

raised the issue in the DSpace list, but it might take a time until we come up
with a solution. This hasn't been considered when folks started doing separate
translations for modules, so there is no guideline on how to handle it.

Maybe for the time being, it's best to split the translations for the modules
into separate files and just commit the default xmlui-lang one. Thus treat the
modules like other parts of the translations (email templates etc.) which are
not managed within DSpace. So your translation will be available for others
who need it.

Thanx again for your work and sharing it with the DSpace community

Claudia

> Messages catalogue translated to Russian language. File messages_ru.xml
> attached.
> There are some known flaws:
> 1. The strings "Related Items" and "Items By Author:" are going from class
> RelatedItems.java (rows 101, 110) direct to the web page without touching
> item-view.xsl and Messages catalogue.
> 2. File news-xmlui.xml also have no i18n support.
