Thank you for the update.
Importing a file with a single changed line (adding authority to a field which
didn't have it before) using metadata-import now doesn't give
NullPointerException anymore. It gives the correct changes preview and after
confirming them also writes that it makes the correct changes. But it doesn't
actually do the change in the database.
When I tried to export my whole repository and then import it again without any
changes, I still get the same NPE as before (MetadataImport.java:466). I don't
know yet which particular line causes the problem.
I also verified that metadata-export works correctly, exporting both fields
with and without autority information.
