Dear contributors from EKT,

I'd like to thank you for your patches and inform you that I added the
issues you filed (DS-1223 to DS-1228) to the list of suggested
features for 3.0 [1].
During yesterday's Developer Meeting, they were very briefly reviewed [2] [3].

One developer expressed the opinion (and I agree) that it's more
convenient to review them in form of GitHub pull requests. I offered
that I'll convert your patches to pull request, but first I wanted to
suggest that it could be beneficial if you do that yourself. The
reason is that you'll be in control of them and you'll be able to make
any additional changes (if any are requested during review), which
will then be reflected in the existing pull request. So I suggest you
to follow the standard GitHub practice:
1) fork the DSpace/DSpace repository (I'll refer to your clone as EKT/DSpace)
2) create a branch for each of your features, these branches can be
called "DS-1223" or "display-item-frequencies" etc.
3) create a pull request for each of these branches

This makes it easy for anyone to
1) view the colored diff on the web
2) pull the pull request's diff into his own tree
3) comment on the pull request or on any individual line of it
4) for you to add additional commits to an existing pull request

Please, let me know if you want to participate in this practice or if
I should create these pull requests from my own cloned repository.

Thanks again for your contributions and we're looking forward to
future cooperation.

P.S. the DSpace 3.0 freeze date, which is when all new features should
be commited is August 17. So by this date, you'll know which of your
patches will make it into 3.0. It's best to prepare the pull requests
as soon as possible to allow some time for review.
