well, I had no plans to include it in Dspace3.0 or 1.8(in its current form) .
The reference to 1.8 was because the translation derives from the messages.xml
included in version 1.8. It was just to maintain the coherence...
Nevertheless, I upload the revision with the tags present in messages_1.8.xml
but missed in messages_gl.xml
And.. Is there any due date for sending the languages packages for 3.0? We
will try to update this file (and also important, the 1.8 spanish translation,
Jira Issue DS-1146)
