Briefly reviewed today by several committers. Although Peter's work is admirable, the one issue is that it Collection.getAllItems() (which it uses) returns the list in an indeterminate order.

So, we should either define an ordering to getAllItems() (though it'd be hardcoded to that order), or think about using Discovery to try and implement this "paging" between items.
