We reviewed this ticket & associated PR (#205) during today's DSpace Developers Meeting. At a glance, we all like this idea and think it could be a great addition to DSpace 4.0 release.

Just out of curiosity, are you running this in production? Or is it still under development? The work looks good at a glance, but just wondered if you are using it heavily yet. No worries if the answer is no...we can accept it either way. It just lets us know how much testing it still needs.
We're working on finding a reviewer for this (to do a more thorough review & test). But, I'm marking this as something to release for "4.0"
