I'm sorry for my late answer.
This feature is in production in http://sedici.unlp.edu.ar, but actually it isn't in use right now. I mean, we don't have any submission or workflow configuration specific for any community yet. This is because the requirements from wich this feature was born were set aside for a while, in order to complete some other requirements. So far, we haven't had any problem with this code in production, but it would be great if you can give it a try.
