Latest status update: 1. By default, Initial Questions is no longer enabled (see
DS-1655
). Therefore, users are now required to fill out a "dc.date.issued" when submitting from UI 2. By default, "dc.date.issued" is no longer set to [today] when it's empty (see DS-1745). Therefore, Items deposited via SWORD or bulk upload will not be assigned a "dc.date.issued" unless specified. 3. The outstanding issue is what to do about existing "dc.date.issued" values, which may be inaccurate.
